Six Black Pencils: An OU Improv and Blue Pencil Comedy collaboration event

For the first time ever, Blue Pencil Comedy, the stand-up comedy organization on campus, and OU Improv, the improvisational comedy group on campus, will host a collaboration show called Six Black Pencils! It’s at 9 p.m. Thursday October 18 in Baker Center Theater—aka it’s at the same and in the same location as OU Improv’s free weekly shows.

Three fabulous stand-up comedians: Zac Coleman, Kaz Finnegan, and Joe Skyrm, will perform 5 minute never-before-seen acts that will serve as openers for three 20 minute sets by mish-mashed groups of OU Improvisors.

The only catch is the show is $2 a person. The organizations are splitting the proceeds, and all the OU Improv money goes directly to bringing Chicago improv professionals Pudding-Thank-You to OU in late November and helping OU Improv travel to the College Improv Tournament in February.

Please come out to see this show on Thursday, and if you need more information check out the Facebook event!
